GENERAL INFORMATION
- Embroidered/special orders are non-returnable. Chef Works coats are more generous than our competitors. We advise ordering samples to try on before ordering any embroidery.
Important Note: Chef Works’ chef coats are very generously cut.
1) In most instances you will find our alpha sized coats (XS-4X) to be at least a half size larger than your previous suppliers. For example, if you ordered a size extra-large (XL) from your previous supplier you may want to consider ordering a size large (L) from Chef Works.
2) Chef Works’ numerically sized executive chef coats (36-60 even) are more generously cut, longer and less tapered than your previous supplier. If you are ordering an embroidered executive chef coat with name and title, you should consider ordering multiple fit samples to determine your size. For example, if you wear a size 44 from your previous supplier you would order a size 40, 42 and 44. Once you determine your size preference then place your order for the embroidered coats.
Embroidered goods with either the logo or name/title may not be returned for size exchanges or credit.
Logos
Chef Works has a complete library of approved Sodexo logos available for viewing online at www.chefworks.com/sodexo. Chef Works has been instructed by Sodexo to limit placement of these logos to the left chest (above the pocket if applicable) when applying to chef coats and shirts.
Name/Title Embroidery
Sodexo has instructed Chef Works to utilize the Century CP font only and to limit placement of embroidered names and titles to the right side of chef coats and shirts. Embroidered names and titles must appear in the same color as the main portion of the Sodexo logo. For example, if the logo is blue/red, the name should be embroidered in blue. If the logo is white, the name/title should be white. We are limited to embroidering three lines of text and to twenty-two (22) characters per line. You can embroider up to three lines of text on most garments.
Please be advised that Sodexo has instructed Chef Works to embroider Names in the original size ~.5" and titles will now be embroidered smaller ~.28".
Client Specific Logo Embroidery
Should the Sodexo client request use of their (client’s) logo, Chef Works has the ability to digitize their embroidery design. Digitizing and embroidery run charges are based on overall stitch count and certain limitations may apply, such as logo size, clarity and color. Note that the default placement of the Sodexo logo is on the left chest and the client’s logo, if requested and provided to ChefWorks for digitizing, will be positioned on the upper right arm. Any special requests altering logo placement will need to be made at time of ordering.
- If your logo requires digitization for embroidery, please contact Program Management at 800-375-3899.
- We prefer that you email your artwork in a JPEG format, along with your Pantone/PMS/Madeira colors (if applicable), to embroidery@chefworks.com. Your logo will remain on file for your future orders.
- You have a choice of a sample sewout or an electronic digital sewout at no cost to you. This is provided for your approval prior to embroidering your garment.
All orders for client logos must be placed online via the special notes section located on the confirmation page.
RETURN POLICY
No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number (RA#). RA# must be written on all boxes. Please call 800-375-3389 to request an RA#.
Items with embroidery, alterations, worn, laundered, damaged and special orders are not returnable. No returns will be accepted after 60 days.
